THIS IS HOW YOU CAN CONVERT AN IMAGE INTO EXCEL SPREADSHEET.

Sometimes our Manager / Boss forces us to copy the data from an image to the excel sheet, which is very hard if you write the data using the keyboard and if the data to write is very long it is really difficult task to perform. But worry not, here I have few methods which can be used to copy data instantly. Now a days, it is very easy to convert an image into recognizable data characters, words & letters using various methods which I will explain in this article. There are various programs which can convert an image into excel by recognizing various characters, words & letters in the image files. But it is really hard to find a completely free way to do it.

In this article, I will explain three methods which are completely free to convert an image into excel spreadsheet. Let's talk about the methods:

Using Online Microsoft 365 Office:

1. Visit here and login using your Microsoft account or in case you don't have one, just simply sign up and proceed with the next step.

2. After login, Click on Excel > New Workbook and then a new worksheet will open,

3. Then click on Data tab on top and choose Data From Picture and upload your image.

4. Now the Excel will do the rest of the work for you, it will recognize Words, letters, and characters from your image and organize them in the excel spreadsheet. The good thing about his method is that this is completely free and less time consuming.

Using Microsoft Office Word:

1. Open word in your system, and insert an image using insert tab as shown in the below image:

2. After inserting the image, save the sheet in pdf format by pressing F12 key, save as popup will open and then choose pdf and save the pdf file at your preferred location.

3.Now open the saved pdf file again in Microsoft Word and then a popup window will show up and then choose OK as shown below:

3. Now the image will be converted into data which can be copied directly into the excel spreadsheet using commands Ctrl + C & Ctrl + V.

Using Mobile Phone:

1. Download Microsoft Excel from Google Playstore for android devices or in case you are using an iPhone then visit Appstore and download the same.

2. After installing Microsoft Excel open it and chose new worksheet.

3. Click on any cell and choose the picture insert icon as shown:

4. Now the excel will import each letter, word & character into the worksheet. Save the file and share it wherever you want.
